Research & scientific computing
Theoretical and computational physics, nuclear matter, reactor neutronics, and scientific modelling — with unpublished work labelled honestly.
About
I am a physicist, theoretical physics researcher, and multidisciplinary technology professional. My work brings together nuclear physics and scientific modelling, telecommunications and digital systems, data and AI, STEM education, and visual communication.
Profile / Academic and professional background
01 Biography
Physicist / Researcher / Practitioner
The common thread is a scientific habit of mind: define the problem, model it carefully, test the explanation, and communicate what matters.
I am a physicist, theoretical physics researcher and multidisciplinary technology professional.
I hold an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Port Harcourt and am pursuing a PhD in Theoretical Physics there. My doctoral research focuses on the neutronic analysis and core optimisation of a small modular reactor concept for grid integration in Nigeria. My broader research interests include nuclear physics, nuclear energy, reactor neutronics, scientific modelling and computational physics.
My academic path began with a B.Sc. (Ed.) in Physics Education at Delta State University, Abraka, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Physics and an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics, both at the University of Port Harcourt. That combination of physics and education has shaped how I approach both research and teaching.
Alongside research, I have worked in telecommunications and fibre-network operations, IT support, data analytics and digital learning. I have taught Physics and Mathematics in classroom and online settings, developed curriculum and instructional content, and supported digital learning platforms including LearnDash and Skoolbod.
I also work as a freelance graphic designer and have experience in video editing, web content writing and transcription. Visual communication is not a separate identity: it is another way of making technical and educational ideas usable.
02 Academic journey
Education / Progression
Each stage added a different layer: teaching, foundational physics, theoretical modelling, and now reactor neutronics.
Delta State University, Abraka. A foundation in physics alongside formal teacher education.
University of Port Harcourt. Thesis on the dispersion of radioactive effluent from nuclear power stations.
University of Port Harcourt. Thesis on vector-meson effects in the relativistic mean field description of nuclear matter.
University of Port Harcourt. Research focus on neutronic analysis and core optimisation of a small modular reactor concept for grid integration in Nigeria.
03 Connected practice
Research / Technology / Education / Studio
These are not separate careers. They are different applications of the same interest in how systems work and how people understand them.
Theoretical and computational physics, nuclear matter, reactor neutronics, and scientific modelling — with unpublished work labelled honestly.
Telecommunications and fibre operations, IT support, data analysis, dashboards, and AI learning, separated into professional work and training.
Physics and Mathematics teaching across four curricula, online tutoring, curriculum design, instructional design, and digital learning support.
Graphic design and video editing for communication, education and promotion — visual work grounded in clarity and learning.
04 Working principles
How the work is presented
These principles also govern the website: no invented credentials, no implied publications, and no private details without approval.
Qualifications, dates, publications and project outcomes are stated only when they can be verified. Unpublished work stays labelled as in preparation.
Research, technical systems and learning materials should be understandable to the people who need to use them — not just to specialists.
Physics, technology, teaching and design are connected by the same habits: asking precise questions, modelling the problem, and communicating the result.
